2009 ABA BMX Spring National Concludes

For many this was the first time to Albuquerque and Duke City BMX. Many positive comments about the track, facility, organized operation, the overall friendliness of the Duke City BMX Volunteers and Albuquerque in General were received.

Local media representatives from The Rio Rancho Observer, KRQE News 13 and Channel 4 KOB Eyewitness News we on hand covering the event. The Albuquerque Convention & Visitors Bureau provided a live Traditional Mariachi group complete with a heart stopping Trumpet solo for the National Anthem to kick off the opening ceremony.

The American Bicycle Association crew arrived nearly 2 weeks prior to make sure the track & dirt were correct for the race. John David the COO of the ABA announced at today's race that Duke City BMX may possibly be the finest BMX Racing track in the world.

Many thanks to all the vendors, volunteers, Albuquerque Police Officers, ABA and BMX Racers who made the 2009 Spring National the best ever!
