Changes for the 2010 Season

Attention Riders, Parents and Fans,

As the 2010 Racing Season nears, Duke City BMX prepares for the upcoming season by implementing the following operational changes.

Change #1.
The concessions "Credit/Tab" system has been brought to and end. The department will no longer be able to allow visitors to “charge” a balance and pay at a later date for concession items.

Offseting this change, our new Concessions Card program will be in full effect, visitors can purchase a 20.00 card/voucher in advance that can be used for all concession purchases. This will allow Riders the ability to make transactions without having to carry a wallet while competing. Currently the concession desk is able to hold the cards for riders or card owners can elect to manage the card themselves. Additionally, Concession cards can be purchased with a credit card at the registration window providing more options for our visitors and membership.

Concessions will still honor regular cash transactions for food & beverage items as before.

Change #2.
Wednesday practice fee has been increased by the amount of 1.00 up to 3.00. This increase will assist the track with our facilities improvement goals for the 2010 season. The fee for pre race practices on Sundays will remain the same. Only the Weds pm practice is affected by this change.

We look forward to an outstanding 2010 Racing season at Duke City BMX these changes will positively assist the track operationally and ultimatley enhance the experience of all that visit or facility. Please be aware that these changes will take effect with our first 2010 track day on Jan 6th.

Thank You
