update: Racing this Sunday Feb 28th!

Attention Riders, Fans & Parents,

The installation of the New ProGate has been delayed one week thus allowing for racing this Sunday at Duke City BMX.

Construction is scheduled to begin after this weekend so the races are on!

Sign Ups 12pm-1pm with racing ASAP. Regular race fees apply.

We are bummed the new preject has not strarted but we are very excited to have the track open for racing this weekend!

See you all at the track!

Duke City BMX will be open for racing Sunday 21st

This Sunday will be the last chance to race at Duke City BMX on the old gate.  Construction begins next week preparing for the instalation of the new ProGate.

We hope to see you all this Sunday!

Duke City BMX gets Olympic style ProGate!

Attention Riders, Parents & Fans,

Construction dates have been set for the installation of the Olympic style ProGate at Duke City BMX.

Our sanctioning body the American Bicycle Association (ABA) has approved Duke City BMX as the first location in the country the use of the ProGate on a perminant basis. This is an incredible upgrade to use a simular precision gate like the one used in Bejing at the 2009 Olympics for BMX competition. This improvement will eliminate the sound of the dropping gate that we are all use to hearing.

In preparation for the installation of the new ProGate we aniticpate closing operations for the following dates.

Sunday- February 28th


Wednesday- March 3rd


Sunday-March7th


Wednesday March 10th


Friday-March 12th


Sunday-March 14th
 
During this down time Board Member Ernie Olquin will be doing maintianance on the track. When finished our track surface will be back to top shape for the use of the new gate.
