Lincoln Middle School rides Duke City BMX

Physical Education Instructor Liv Kent created a life Sport Series that allows students at Lincoln Middle School in Rio Rancho to participate in Life Sports that they might normally not be exposed to in a positive way. The series began this year with repelling and rock climbing and then progressed to BMX Racing.

Today a group of about fifteen students arrived at Duke City BMX to try their hand at the sport. Benefiting from the Loaner Bike & Gear Program all riders were able to be suited with a track owned race bike and helmet. Much fun was had by all during the first time rider clinic. With help from Julian Gonzales of 505 Racing, Tye Peirce and a demonstration of the Pro Section by Hunter Meese the group had a great time.

We look forward to seeing these riders on regular track days at Duke City BMX.
