Hello new rider!
Duke City BMX welcomes you to the sport of BMX Racing.
Steps to get started:
Step #1. Check the track schedule for open track days. Seasonally the track schedule changes so make sure
you are looking at the correct season schedule.

Summer schedule = Weds pm practice & Sunday mid day racing
(race time is mid day when it is a bit warmer)
Winter schedule = Weds night practice, Friday night racing & Sunday Am racing
( race time starts earlier to beat the heat)

Step #2. Gather a long sleeve shirt, full length pants, comfortable closed toe sport shoes and if you are under
the age of 18 a parent or adult guardian.
Step #3. Get to the track! Allow enough time to register at the registration office. Ariving 10 minutes before
start time works best.
If you plan to get on the track Duke City BMX offers a 1 day free membership and 5 free uses of our loaner Bike & Gear program. All new riders must register be before gaining access to the track.
Spectators are always free at Duke City BMX. Albuquerque City Park rules apply, no pets, no smoking no adult beverages or drugs on City Property.
In the event you would like to use your own bike on the track, the following is a list of things that you will want to make adjustments for if your bike is not a BMX Racing bike.
No kick stands, No chain guards, no reflectors, no pegs, no accessories like horns or mirrors that may cause injury in the event of a fall.
Rear Brakes are required to be on the track
Rider Gear - Duke City BMX offers Helmets and various safety equipment for new riders. All riders must wear a helmet to gain access to the track.
